• Family Separation: Between 2017 and 2018 alone, the "Zero Tolerance" policy led to the separation of over 5,000 children from their parents, many of whom were held in facilities with inadequate food, water, and medical care.

• A System of Profit: A massive portion of ICE detention takes place in private, for-profit prisons, turning human displacement into a corporate line item.

• The Culture of Fear: Indiscriminate sweeps don't just target individuals; they traumatize entire neighborhoods, forcing people into the shadows and away from the parks and plazas they helped build.

From the legendary crews in East L.A. to the kids hitting ledges in Dallas today, Hispanic skaters have defined the style and grit of this sport. This board is for the skaters who know that "land of the free" shouldn't come with a side of surveillance.
